Yields10 Servings
Ingredients
 20 Baker's yeast
 2 Salt
 1 Sugar
 2 Egg
 500 White flour
 100 Corn flour
 ¼ Warm milk
 1 Warm water
Directions
1

Pour the yeast and a little warm water and sprinkle a bit of flour on top (1 tablespoon). Mix and wait 10 minutes. The yeast is ready. Sift the two flours to avoid lumps in the dough. Add the salt and sugar. Make a well in the center to add the yeast and the 2 eggs. Pour in a little milk and mix everything together.

2

Work the mixture while gradually adding warm milk as needed until a soft dough is obtained. Knead the dough for about 15 minutes (it should absorb air to rise well). The dough no longer sticks to the fingers.

3

Shape into a ball and cover with a cloth. Place in a warm place and let it double in size, for about 1.5 hours (depending on the room temperature). The dough has risen well. Punch it down and prepare for shaping.

4

Flour the work surface and cut the dough in half. Prepare two rolls. Tie the dough into a knot, placing each roll on a floured baking sheet for the oven. Let it rest for another hour covered with a cloth.

5

To finish, preheat the oven to 180°C. The bread has risen. Place it in the oven for 30 minutes.

Corn bread: the easy recipe

Following the recommendations, I used 200g of corn flour and 400g of wheat flour, along with a little olive oil. I divided the dough into 4. I find the result a bit dense and crumbly, but it might be a property of the corn flour... And at the same time, it's the first time in my life that I am making bread.

A bit dry bread Excellent recipe! The bread is quite successful, with a slightly golden crust. My suggestion: It is a bit dry, though. It might need a little olive oil to add more flavor. As for the corn, some say its taste is not noticeable. I suggest 400 g of wheat flour for 200 g of corn flour.

Very good recipe Easy to execute. My suggestion: 400 g of type 55 flour and 200 g of corn flour (lighter dough). You should also add a little yellow coloring for the corn color.

Madam, I cannot give you [the result], because I just made the recipe. The dough seems good to me; now I am waiting for it to bake.
