Like a bouquet of indulgence!
Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. In a saucepan over a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate broken into pieces (the water should not boil; the chocolate should melt very gently!). Stir well with a wooden spatula to achieve a smooth consistency. Skew each strawberry onto a wooden stick, being careful not to damage the fruit.
Dip each strawberry in melted chocolate. Dip the tips of the strawberries in shredded coconut or roasted pistachios or other toppings. Place the skewers with strawberries in a glass to let each fruit dry properly. Enjoy.
Of course, with this recipe, all sorts of variations are possible depending on tastes or inspirations of the moment: white chocolate, sesame seeds, crushed hazelnuts, coconut, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs; milk chocolate, crushed pistachios...
To finish, the fresh strawberry coated in dark chocolate. Simple to make and very indulgent!
