Here is a recipe not to miss: white chorba! It’s a recipe for Algerian soup with a refreshing lemon flavor. This well-known recipe during Ramadan is perfect for winter.
Soak the chickpeas the night before.
Wash the chicken and sauté it in a pot with butter, oil, and chopped onion, then season.
Pour water over, when the water starts to boil, add the chickpeas and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Place the vermicelli in the pot and let cook for the time indicated on the package (generally no more than 5 minutes).
In a deep plate, place a ladle of the soup and mix it with the egg yolk and lemon juice.
Place the final mixture in the saucepan and stir.
To finish, pour the soup into your bowl and sprinkle with parsley and dill.
