This marble cake, prepared in a mini version, is ultra moist thanks to the added cream. It's a marble cake with a cocoa flavor, but also a maple syrup flavor, which will make a perfect snack for both kids and adults. The maple syrup adds even more indulgence to this delicious cake.
Preheat the oven to 170°C; Melt the butter.
In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture is slightly lightened. Gradually add the flour and baking powder to avoid lumps. Then add the cream and melted butter, and mix well into the batter.
Separate the dough into two pieces. In one half of the dough, add the cocoa powder and mix. In the other half of the dough, add the maple syrup and mix.
To finish, in a buttered loaf pan or muffin tins, pour the batter to 3/4 full. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of your pan.
