Who doesn't love potato gratins? They are easy to make, economical, and can be varied endlessly. Today, I offer you a complete version that can serve as a main dish, with ham and two cheeses.
Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into cubes about 1.5 cm.
Heat a large covered skillet with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooked, add the chopped garlic and mix.
Preheat the oven grill to 250°C.
Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the whole slices of ham to cover the bottom of the dish, then add the potatoes on top. Pour the cheese over everything and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes, the dish in the middle of the oven (about 8 inches from the broiler).
To finish, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
