Green asparagus is rich in vitamins A, B9, potassium, and magnesium. It is consumed from April to June. Here is a quick and delicious recipe for sautéed green asparagus with parmesan.
Peel and wash the green asparagus.
Pre-cook the asparagus in boiling salted water for 5-10 minutes (depending on their size). Drain.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet and sear the asparagus on each side for about 3 minutes.
To finish, serve the asparagus seasoned with salt and pepper and sprinkled with grated cheese.
