A cake with orange marmalade, a cake with citrus flavors that I love. Indeed, citrus season has begun and will continue until February. This cake is very moist, and each bite melts with delight. You can enjoy it with a delicious citrus tea or a cup of hot chocolate. Orange and chocolate make a perfect pairing.
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Using a mixer, blend the softened butter and sugar until you get a creamy consistency. Add the eggs and continue to whisk with the mixer. Add the orange marmalade and mix. Incorporate the sifted flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
To finish, mix using a spatula. Add the milk. Mix until a smooth batter is obtained. Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour in the batter and level the height using a spatula. Cut orange slices and insert them into the batter. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, depending on your oven. Let cool before removing from the pan.
