Recipe for Hazelnut Chocolate Cookies

AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

Today, I propose you some hazelnut and chocolate cookies. A real treat! They are plump, very soft, and crispy at the same time thanks to the hazelnuts. Moreover, they are very easy and quick to prepare, as the dough doesn't need to rest in the fridge. The perfect snack! I guarantee that they will leave no one indifferent.

Ingredients
 100 soft butter
 80 Sugar
 1 Egg
 200 Flour
 1 cornstarch
 ½ Baking soda
  Salt
 80 Hazelnut
 180 chocolate (dark for me)
Directions
1

Roast the hazelnuts in a pan for a few minutes, dry, over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Let cool, then roughly chop.

2

Chop the chocolate into small pieces.

3

Preheat the oven to 200°C, static heat.

4

In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugar. Add the egg and mix a little to incorporate it.

5

Mix the flour with the starch, baking soda, and salt. Add to the batter and blend until smooth.

6

Fold in the coarsely chopped hazelnuts and the chopped chocolate using a spatula.

7

Take a tablespoon of dough, form a ball and flatten it slightly. Place on a baking sheet, spacing them apart, as the cookies will spread during baking.

8

Do the same with the remaining dough. I made 12 cookies.

9

Bake for 11-12 minutes or until they are slightly golden.

10

To finish, let cool for 10 minutes before handling.
