One of the most popular Portuguese soups, cabbage soup, a true delight!

 2 Water
 500 Potato
 1 Onion
 350 Green cabbage
 15 Olive oil
 ½ Sliced chorizo

Bring the salted water to a boil.

Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into cubes. Add them to the water. Slice the onions. Add them to the mixture. Cook for 15 minutes, then blend.

Wash the cabbage and cut it into thin strips. Add them to the mixture and let it cook for about ten minutes.

After 10 minutes, add the olive oil and bring to a boil.

To finish, serve the soup in bowls, accompanied by a few slices of chorizo. Enjoy your meal!

    2 liters of water... 700g of potatoes, 2 onions, and especially a chicken broth in the first preparation, 700g of cabbage grrrrrrr.... Something amazing... hmmmm

    EXCELLENT!!!!! This is the soup of Portugal. It is easy to make and, on top of that, it is good. What more is there... My suggestion: No additional suggestions. This is the soup to eat.

    It's super good, green cabbage is excellent for digestion compared to other cabbages. My suggestion: Traditionally, the cabbage was cut with a razor. You need to make a very fine julienne so that the cabbage is not tough.

    Very good Excellent, the whole family loves it, even those who don't like cabbage! My suggestion: I add more water than indicated and cook it much longer so that the cabbage really softens. Even better reheated.

    Excellent I have been making this recipe for years, but I replace the chorizo with smoked sausages that I cut into small cubes, and I blend the soup. My husband loves it.
