Dry cake

Ingredients
 3 Egg yolk
 1 Egg white
 250 Sugar
 250 Butter
 500 Flour
 1 pinch Salt
 ½ Yeast

Put the flour, sugar, egg yolks, the only egg white, butter, and baking powder into a bowl.

Mix everything by hand.

    I made this traditional cake from my home region. This recipe is perfect; I halved the quantities (250g of flour / 125g of sugar and butter) ... except for the eggs: I just went from three yolks to two yolks; (set aside one beaten egg yolk mixed with a little milk, then brush it on the cake before baking / then create decorative grooves) __Baking: after placing parchment paper in the mold, before spreading the dough, I baked it in a fan oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes; (preheat beforehand;) __At the end of the allotted time, I added 5 more minutes at 200 degrees to get it nicely browned; __It was excellent!!! __

    Cake too floury... too much flour __Not pleasant in the mouth.
