A recipe cooked for a birthday, pretty, original, and easy to make. A great idea to keep the kids busy one afternoon!
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a muffin tin.
Take two red apples, cut them in half, then slice them thinly.
Place the apple slices in a bowl filled with lemon water, this will prevent them from browning. Heat for 4 minutes in the microwave or in a saucepan, then drain them.
Cut the puff pastry into 6 strips and spread a layer of blackcurrant jam.
Place the apple pieces on the upper half of the sheet of puff pastry, letting them hang over the edge. Then fold the bottom part of the pastry (without apples) over the apples. You need to gently roll the pastry onto itself, squeezing it as tightly as possible.
Place them in the greased muffin tin, one by one. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
To finish, upon taking them out of the oven, lightly dust them with powdered sugar. Add a small spoonful of blackcurrant jam in the center of the flower. Enjoy!
