Here is my pear cake recipe for 6 people, perfect for an afternoon snack.
Peel the pears and cut the flesh into small cubes. In a pan, sauté the pears with 50 g of sugar, vanilla sugar, and honey. Melt the butter over low heat or in the microwave.
In a bowl, whisk the whole eggs with the sugar and salt until the mixture lightens in color and becomes fluffy. Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and then the melted butter. Gently fold the caramelized pears into the batter.
To finish, butter and flour a loaf pan and pour in the mixture. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove the loaf from the pan and let it cool on a rack. Enjoy your meal!
