This nut cake evokes sweet childhood memories at grandmother's house. The nut cake that my mom has been making since I was little: a delight! With its tender texture and subtle aroma of nuts, it reminds one of the warmth of a cozy home. Easy to prepare, this classic recipe requires only basic ingredients and a bit of patience. In just a few easy steps, you will have a delicious cake perfect for an afternoon snack or dessert.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add the eggs and mix well.
Incorporate the oil into the dough in two stages. Then, add the finely chopped nuts. Mix well; you will obtain a fairly thick dough.
Butter a bundt pan and pour in the cake batter.
Bake in a hot oven at 180°C for 25 minutes. Insert a knife into the cake; if it comes out clean, it is done.
To finish, unmold and let cool on a rack. Decorate with walnut halves. Enjoy this walnut cake plain, or for those with a sweet tooth, serve with jam or honey.
