 3 Flour
 2 Powdered sugar
 1 Still water
 ½ Oil
 2 Egg
 1 pinch Salt
 ½ Yeast
Optional
 2 Diced apple
 2 Diced pear
 Chocolate chip
 Cocoa (for a marble cake)
Directions
1

Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, except the yeast. Mix with an electric mixer for 5 minutes.

2

Add the yeast by sifting it through a fine strainer. Mix it with a wooden spoon.

3

If desired, add one of the optional ingredients or whatever your imagination suggests...

4

Grease a mold generously and pour the batter into it. Be careful to choose a mold that is large enough, as the batter should not exceed 2/3 full, otherwise it will overflow during baking.

5

Place the mold on the oven rack (in the middle) and bake at 180°C (thermostat 6) for 40 to 45 minutes.

6

To finish, check the cooking by inserting a skewer. If the cake is done, it should not stick to it.

I made this cake for a birthday. I added an extra egg to improve the texture of the cake. One suggestion: whipping the egg white adds even more lightness to the texture.

Heavy I tried it, and my family and I found it a bit heavy. However, it had risen well, but the texture wasn't very light.

Kim Chenel's thoughts on the recipe I am truly honored that a budding little cook chose my recipe for their first culinary experiences. I saw your photo, and it looks very successful! I hope you are happy with yourself because you deserve it. Sorry to hear your parents found it too dry... We must respect the opinions of others!!!... In the end, you ended up with more for yourself and your friends ;) See you soon for a new recipe :D My suggestion: Insist on improving and improving even more...

Delicious! I am 11 years old, and I made the cake all by myself. Personally, I find it DELICIOUS! My parents think it is dry. My suggestion: None.

Water glass Instead of weighing the ingredients, I use a water glass. For the flour, I fill it 3 times with flour (without packing it down) and pour it into the mixing bowl, then I fill it 2 times with sugar, etc.
