A recipe that will reconcile you with Brussels sprouts. Perfect for the first chill of the season.
Clean the cabbage, remove the outer leaves if necessary, cut into quarters and remove the stem. Rinse under water.
Peel and dice the apple. Thinly slice the onion. Set aside.
In a pot, bring water to a simmer, then dip the cabbage for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Heat a little oil in a wok or skillet. Sauté the onion. Once it turns golden, add the diced apple and cabbage. Sauté for 4 to 5 minutes.
Finally, just before serving, add the chopped nuts. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
