Cooking Preheat the oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7) and bake for 40 minutes. Heat the pineapple juice with 10 sugar cubes to make a caramel. Pour the hot liquid over the cake.

    Just excellent! Everyone loved it! I just added some coconut on top before putting the pineapples and halfway through cooking, I added the pineapple juice without adding any extra sugar and it was perfect!!

    Excellent - light and fluffy thanks to the pineapple. For visual appeal, I added a cherry in each hole of the pineapple for a guaranteed effect. For me, the baking took about 60 minutes including the caramel. Easy to make and foolproof.

    I enjoyed it... so good... I made it without the caramel but added hazelnuts and almonds and sprinkled sugar with cinnamon just before baking... A delight...

    Personally, I made it in the upside-down style. First the caramel, then the pineapples, and only then the dough. And in the dough, I poured some pineapple juice because I had too much left for my caramel! Delicious!
