A very simple recipe to make and yet so good! These cookies are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are quite sweet; you can reduce the amount of sugar if you wish. However, given the ingredients, it is a fairly rich and calorie-dense recipe. If you are really indulgent, you can add whole hazelnuts or peanuts.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Chop the chocolate into pieces with a knife.
In a bowl, mix with a mixer the melted butter, peanut butter, and sugar.
When the dough is smooth, add the egg, then the flour and the baking powder.
At this stage, the dough is quite firm, continue mixing by hand. Add the chocolate chips. Mix well to distribute them throughout the dough.
Make 10 to 15 balls, flatten them on the baking sheet (be careful to space them out, as the cookies spread a little while baking).
To finish, bake for 10-12 minutes. The edges should be golden, but the center should still be light. Wait for them to cool before placing them in an airtight container.
