A creamy, moist, and delicious prune tart. Best served with a cup of tea or a good coffee.
Soak the prunes in very hot tea for about two hours.
Prepare the dough: place the flour, a pinch of salt, and the butter cut into small pieces in a bowl, and work with your fingertips. Gradually pour in the liquid, then knead the dough and form a ball. Let it rest in the refrigerator for one hour.
Drain the prunes and pit them. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface. Press it into a tart pan lined with parchment paper. Prick the bottom with a fork and then distribute the prunes.
In a bowl, whisk the whole eggs with the sugar, add the spoonful of flour, the cottage cheese, and the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the prunes.
To finish, slide the tart into a medium oven for about 35 minutes. Serve the tart cold, dusted with powdered sugar.
