Here is how to prepare a white soup with chicken and meatballs, according to a traditional recipe. It is a traditional soup in some regions for the iftar during Ramadan.
In a pot, place a nice knob of butter and some oil. Sauté the chicken and the peeled, chopped onion.
Add the garlic, the parsley, the two cubes of broth, and sauté for a few moments.
Add the chickpeas and let simmer slightly.
Cover with water and bring to a boil. Then add the bulgur and let simmer.
In another bowl, place the ground meat, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, butter, pepper, and salt.
To finish, mix well and form into meatballs. Add them to the pot and let simmer until the meat is cooked. Just before serving, add parsley and lemon slices.
