Who doesn't love the famous beach treats, those delicious caramelized peanuts? Here is a quick recipe to make these goodies. It can even be adapted with almonds or hazelnuts if you prefer!
Peanut syrup topping. In a saucepan, pour the water, sugar, and peanuts. Heat over medium heat.
Stir with a spatula until the sugar caramelizes.
Mix off the heat. Remove from heat and stir vigorously. A grainy film should form around your peanuts. Scrape the bottom well.
Coating on the heat. Return to the heat at the same power. Stir gently until the coating turns brown.
Cooling Remove from the heat. Spread and separate the treats on a cold tray. Let cool.
