A cake with pears, chocolate, and especially flavored with tonka bean, a little indulgent treat. This cake is delicious and delights our taste buds. Delicious for an afternoon snack or for breakfast.
Melt the butter and set it aside. Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until slightly pale. Gently incorporate the cooled butter. Mix.
Incorporate the sifted dry ingredients (flour, baking powder) and mix until you achieve a smooth mixture. Grate the tonka bean over the batter. Fold in the diced pear pieces, then the chocolate chips. Pour everything into the mold.
To finish, let your cake rest for about 1 hour before baking it. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake for 45/50 minutes in the oven. Check the doneness by inserting the blade of a knife. Remove from the pan and let cool on a rack.
