Preparation of the ingredients Preheat the oven to 180°C. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Place the yolks in a bowl with the sugar and stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture whitens.

Preparation of the dough: Blend the cookies and add the resulting powder to the sugar and egg yolks. Then add the melted butter and flour. Whip the egg whites until very stiff. Fold them into the rest of the dough.

Baking Pour into a greased mold. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes. Check the cake's doneness by piercing it with a knife. Let it cool.

    Good but not exceptional, I don't really taste the speculoos... And I did indeed add a little milk and some baking powder. 35 minutes is a bit too long I think since it was slightly overcooked.

    Great recipe, you can really taste the speculoos. I left some pieces of speculoos to add even more flavor and crunch, but I found the cake a bit flat, so next time I will add some baking powder!

    For all the gourmet moments! Delicious cake. It feels good with the approach of Christmas! My suggestion: After reading various reviews that highlighted the dryness of this cake, I added about 100ml of light liquid cream to soften the batter, which in the end resulted in a really moist cake. I also chose to bake it in a loaf pan to give it some volume. Very successful and would do again without hesitation for any time of the day.

    The cake is very good. I like it a lot, but it is a bit too dry. My suggestion: I tasted it with custard, it's excellent.

    Very good The speculoos comes in many forms!! My suggestion: I added half a packet of baking powder, chocolate chips, a bit more speculoos, and 3 tablespoons of cream cheese. Result: very good.
