Here is the recipe for the famous apple pie. An easy-to-make apple tart with a shortcrust (or puff) pastry. Enjoy your meal!

 150 Brown sugar
 2 Flour
 1 Cinnamon
 1 pinch Nutmeg
 2 Butter
 1 Egg yolk

Preparation of the apples Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel the apples and cut them into quarters. Mix the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then pour over the apples.

Assembling the apple pie. Line a pie dish with one of the crusts. Fill it with apples and dot with small pieces of butter.

Sealing the pie Close the pie using the second round of dough. Seal the edges and make a chimney or ventilation holes. Decorate with scraps of dough. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake until the crust is golden brown.
