Recipe for Braided Pastries with Blueberries and Almond Cream

At home, we love these pastries. So, I prepare them in many ways. They are easy and quick to make and so delicious! I highly recommend trying them to please your family.

 1 butter puff pastry
 120 fresh blueberries
 1 egg yolk
 1 Milk
Almond cream
 50 softened butter
 50 Sugar
 1 Egg
 50 almond powder
 1 Cornstarch
Directions

Prepare the almond cream. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugar using a small spoon. Add the egg and mix again to incorporate it. Then do the same with the almond flour and cornstarch to achieve a smooth texture.

Preheat the oven to 200°C, static heat.

Roll out the puff pastry. Cut it into 4 pieces, then make 3 slashes on each side about 1 cm apart, leaving a margin of about 1 cm.

Place 1/4 of the almond cream in the center of each piece of dough and spread it out in the shape of a triangle.

Spread the blueberries on top, gently pressing them into the almond cream.

Fold over the filling one side, then the second side on top, and seal the bottom by creating a hem.

In a cup, mix the egg yolk with the milk or water and brush the pastries with this preparation.

Bake and cook for 20 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.

Let cool for 5 minutes, then place on the serving dish.
