To try: this recipe for welsh rarebit.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
In individual baking dishes, place the slices of bread and then the slices of ham.
Grate the cheese, then melt it over low heat in a saucepan, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Once the cheese is melted, add the light beer to it.
Add the mustard, mix again.
Cover the slices of bread and ham with the mixture.
Bake the dishes for 10 minutes.
To finish, upon removing from the oven, add a fried egg on top of each dish. Serve immediately with a twist of the pepper mill.
