Enjoy these eastern-style beef meatballs. Simple and quick to make, they offer a change from ground beef! Pair them with Italian or Moroccan tomato sauce, as you prefer.
Preparation of the ingredients Peel and chop the garlic and onion. Chop the cilantro, peel and grate the ginger.
Mix the ingredients for the meatballs In a bowl, combine the meat, seasonings, spices, salt and pepper, and the egg. Mix well to bind all the ingredients together.
Shape the balls into the size of a large nut and dust them lightly with flour.
Cooking the meatballs Heat some oil in a skillet and place the meatballs to sear for about ten minutes, turning them to brown all sides. Season with salt and pepper.
Drain the meatballs on a paper towel to remove excess fat, and serve hot.
