AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

Here is a recipe that was very well received, featuring super tender and flavorful skewers. However, the marinade didn't look very appealing at first... but turned out wonderfully in the end!

Yields4 Servings
Prep Time20 minsCook Time6 minsTotal Time26 mins
Ingredients
800 beef slices for fondue, for example
 ½ green bell pepper
 ½ red bell pepper
 3 medium tomatoes
 3 basil pesto zucchini
 1 fresh onion
 2 cloves garlic
 3 liquid honey
 1 lemon
 16 beautiful cherry tomatoes
 20 pale beer
 Salt
 Pepper
Directions
1

Peel the garlic and onion, and slice them. Wash and seed the tomatoes and peppers, and cut them into quarters. To prepare the marinade, finely blend all the ingredients: garlic, onion, tomatoes, peppers, pesto, then add the honey and 100 ml of beer. Pour into a mixing bowl.

2

Cut the meat into cubes and add it to the marinade. Let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour. Skewer the meat on the sticks, alternating with cherry tomatoes.

3

Prepare the sauce. Reduce the remaining marinade by adding the remaining 100 ml of beer for about 15 minutes. Turn on the griddle at high heat. Cook the skewers for about 6 minutes, turning them several times.

4

Serve the skewers with the sauce alongside basmati rice, for example.

5

To finish, enjoy your meal!
