Cook this delicious trio of flavored butters and delight your guests for the appetizer. Recipe and styling: Annelyse Chardon/Cniel.
Butter, apple, and pecan. Leave the butter at room temperature until it is soft. Then whip it with a mixer along with the salt, sugar, applesauce, and cinnamon until you have a creamy mixture. Add the pecans, mix, and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving with toast or brioche.
Lemon herb butter. Leave the butter at room temperature until it is very soft. Then whip it with a mixer with the grated zest of lemons, chopped dill, pink peppercorns, and salt until you have a creamy mixture. Return to the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving with toast or rye bread and smoked salmon.
To finish, butter with cranberries and orange. Let the butter sit at room temperature until it is soft. Then whip it with a mixer along with the powdered sugar, orange zest, and salt until you achieve a creamy mixture. Add the cranberries and mix. Return to the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving with toast or brioche.
