Discover this recipe for bruschetta with Swiss cheese. Great for appetizer, this recipe can also be served at lunch or for a quick dinner with a nice salad.
Preparation of the ingredients Start by cutting slices of bread. Mix the tomato sauce with peeled garlic and herbs, not forgetting a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread the tomato sauce over the slices of bread. Grate half of the Swiss cheese and distribute it over the slices. Add some halved cherry tomatoes.
Preparation of the filling Preheat your oven to 220 °C. Wash and slice the vegetables thinly with a knife or a mandoline.
Cooking In a skillet or on the BBQ, sear the slices over high heat with a nice drizzle of olive oil. Bake the slices of bread to melt the cheese and lightly toast the bread for 5 to 7 minutes. Once the slices are ready, add the grilled vegetables, the remaining cherry tomatoes, and torn basil.
Finish by slicing the remaining Swiss cheese into shavings and distributing them over the bruschettas.
