A recipe for apple pie.
Using a whisk or mixer, mix the flour, salt, sugar, milk, 25 g of melted butter, and eggs until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Pour the beer and continue to whisk. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve. Add the remaining melted butter while whisking. The mixture should become smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Peel the apples and cut them into quarters. In a pan with the butter and brown sugar, sauté the apples until they are golden.
Heat the frying oil to 165 °C. Skewer the apple wedges with a fork and dip them in the batter. Remove the excess batter.
Fry them for about 5 minutes until they are well colored. Turn them halfway through cooking, then drain them on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy them quickly, perhaps with a hot chocolate?
Tip: Here, it's best to use soft and sweet-fleshed apples.
