A delicious pasta recipe with cream, vegan substitute, capers, and arugula. The vegan substitute has a flavor similar to tuna.
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Drain the capers. Crumble the plant-based alternative using a fork.
Wash the lemons in hot water and cut one half into slices. Squeeze the juice from the other half.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan. Sauté the capers until crispy, then remove them and drain on paper towels.
Add the remaining olive oil and sauté the onions. Add the lemon juice, heat briefly, and season with salt and pepper.
Place the pasta, the plant-based protein, the capers, and the crème fraîche in the pan, mix, and serve on plates.
To finish, garnish with arugula, lemon wedges, and cheese. Enjoy your meal!
