 250 White bean
 300 Beef
 1 Chopped onion
 2 Crushed tomato
 2 Tomato paste
 2 Carrot
 3 Olive oil
 1 clove Garlic
 1 Ground ginger
 5 Cumin
 1 Bay leaf
 1 pinch Salt
 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation of the ingredients: Cut the meat into small pieces. Peel and chop the onion.

Cooking In a pot, brown the meat, onion, spices, and bay leaf for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring regularly. Add a little water if necessary to prevent sticking. Add the tomato puree, tomato paste, and carrot slices, and mix.

Finishing Touches: Add the soaked and well-drained beans along with water: 2 parts water for 1 part beans, and adjust the seasoning. Close the pressure cooker and cook under pressure for 20 minutes. If you are not using a pressure cooker, cooking will take about 1 hour (or even longer...).

Serve very hot with good homemade Moroccan bread.

    It's an excellent recipe. However, I personally don't use beef but lamb (lamb stir-fry). It's wonderfully tender, and all the flavors of this dish come out beautifully with that distinctive taste of Moroccan dishes. Definitely worth making again and again.

    Very good recipe. I didn't use bay leaf; I added ginger, cumin, paprika, and turmeric. Everyone loved it. Be sure to soak the beans the night before; otherwise, they won't cook properly.

    I didn't know ... Simple to prepare and delicious. What more could you ask for? I used beef cheek and it was very, very tender. Thanks again. I will let others know. My suggestion: I served it with Moroccan bread, which everyone thought was brioche!
