Cook the beef strips differently, in a wok with spices using this Indonesian-style beef recipe.
Blend the coriander, ginger, cumin, garlic, cloves, turmeric, chili, and shallots to obtain a thick paste. Add a drizzle of oil if needed.
Cut the meat into cubes, brush them with the spice paste, and let marinate for 1 hour covered in the refrigerator.
Heat the wok, add the oil, and brown the meat for 5 minutes over high heat. Add the salt, sugar, and coconut powder, pour in the coconut milk, and let it simmer uncovered until the sauce thickens.
To finish, serve the Indonesian beef with vegetable skewers or rice.
