I usually cook Asian dishes, and I find this to be a very good recipe. I made it vegetarian for my part. I marinated my vegetables. Very good. I recommend adding some mirin at the end of cooking, which will thicken the sauce and make it syrupy to better coat the vegetables; otherwise, I find the rice bland. Thank you for the recipe!

Wonderful! I had never made or even eaten it before, but since I love the famous dish, I decided to take the plunge, and I’m glad I did. Everyone enjoyed it. Definitely worth making again.

I prepared this for dinner - I just didn't add sugar to the vegetables because of a diabetic in the family - and... it was a guaranteed success for the youngest, 7 years old, just as it was for the adults! You just need to be well organized and it's quite economical as a dish (1 small zucchini, 2 small carrots, 2 ground beef patties, 1/2 can of mushrooms...) and there were 4 of us!

Beyond 5 stars! Really, really excellent!!!! It's simple to make and especially a huge success... I have been making it once a week for a month. It's a complete dish. And buy the sesame oil in the Asian aisle; it has nothing to do with the one in the regular oils section, which is expensive and bland. If the chili paste bothers you, the tube of tomato concentrate is perfect. Thank you for your wonderful recipe, a Korean discovery!
