Today I suggest a beef stir-fry with Asian flavors. These are small pieces of beef, marinated in a sauce with Asian flavors, and sautéed with onion, garlic, and bell pepper. It's an easy and quick dish to make, very aromatic and rich in taste.

General
 500 beef steak
 2 Oil
 3 cloves Garlic
 1 large onion
 2 Bell pepper
 1 Chives
Marinade
 1 Soy sauce
1 Chinese Shaoxing wine (or white wine)
 ½ Baking soda
 3 Cornstarch
Stir-fry sauce
 3 oyster sauce
3 Shaoxing wine (or white wine)
 2 Soy sauce
 2 Sugar
 6 freshly cracked pepper
 2 white vinegar
Directions
1

Prepare all the ingredients. Cut the steaks diagonally, against the grain of the meat to break them down, into very thin pieces (a maximum thickness of 5 mm). Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Peel the onion, cut it in half, then slice each half finely. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into small pieces. Chop the chives.

2

Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the beef and mix well with your hands to ensure each piece of beef is coated. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.

3

In a small bowl, mix all the stir-fry sauce ingredients.

4

Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and onion and sauté for 30 seconds.

5

Push the onion and garlic to the sides of the pan and add the strips of beef in the center. Spread the meat as much as possible and let it sear for about 2 minutes. Then flip it and cook for another 2 minutes, then mix all the ingredients.

6

Add the bell pepper. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes or until the beef is just cooked, stirring.

7

Add the stir-fry sauce and sauté for another 1-2 minutes, stirring.

8

To finish, remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped chives. Serve immediately with white rice.
