Did you think that you had to marinate them or cook them in sauce to have tender strips? Simple and effective, this recipe for chicken strips with rice cooked in a skillet will undoubtedly become one of your staples as it is delicious, economical, and quick and easy to prepare.
Preparation of the broth: Boil the water with the degreased chicken broth cubes.
Golden cooking of the strips. Place the chicken strips cut into pieces in a pan with a little butter and lightly brown them.
Cooking the onion and rice Cut the onion into small pieces and sauté it with butter in a large pan.
Incorporate the raw rice into the skillet and let it brown for 2 minutes while stirring.
Pour 1/4 of the chicken broth into the skillet and stir until absorbed.
Pour the remaining broth into the skillet and stir until fully absorbed.
Finishing and serving Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the rice with the chicken strips placed on top and sprinkle with peas.
