Here is the traditional Sunday roast chicken revised in a more modern way. After winter, vitamins are welcome, so citrus fruits twist this dish. Pink grapefruits, fragrant lemons, juicy oranges, and honey with three citrus fruits, mandarin olive oil, and lemon syrup! Sweet and savory lovers will be thrilled; it's a delight. Let's get started!
Peel the garlic cloves. Salt the inside of the chicken. Rub it with one of the garlic cloves.
Using a brush, coat the inside of the poultry with honey and three citrus fruits. Preheat the oven to 210°C (th 7).
Squeeze the juice of one grapefruit, one orange, and one lemon. Cut the second grapefruit, second orange, and second lemon into large pieces. Stuff the inside of the chicken with the citrus pieces. Add the garlic.
Place the chicken in a well-buttered baking dish. Pour over the juice from the 3 pressed fruits (grapefruit, orange, lemon) and some tangerine oil. Put in the oven for 1 hour, basting regularly. Then reduce the oven temperature to 180°C and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the rice pilaf. At the same time as the broth, add the citrus juice and turmeric along with small pieces of citrus.
To finish, serve the chicken with the citrus pieces around it, along with the rice sprinkled with black sesame seeds. Enjoy your meal!
