A recipe for shrimp curry inspired by Goa. A dish filled with flavors just by reading the title. Enjoy a warm dish made with rice, shrimp, and a delicious curry sauce.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet and add the onion paste. Sauté over low heat until the onion paste turns golden.
Add the garlic and ginger paste and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add the black peppercorns, turmeric, and salt. Mix by stirring for one minute.
Add the red chili powder and stir for 2 more minutes.
Pour the coconut milk and water. Once the mixture reaches a boil, add the shrimp and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
Finally, squeeze the half lemon. Serve hot with steamed rice.
