Discover these goat cheese balls rolled in Imperial Bao Zhong tea. A recipe proposed by a tea house. Photographer © Nicolas Lobbestael
Take a bit of fresh goat cheese (about 10 g) with a spoon. Roll into a small ball between the palms of your hands.
Pour the Imperial Bao Zhong tea leaves into a small plate. Be sure to keep them whole.
Roll the goat cheese balls in tea leaves. Present them on a small plate and enjoy immediately.
For the finishing touch: To maintain the crispiness of the Bao Zhong tea leaves, roll the goat cheese balls in the tea leaves just before enjoying. You can also replace the goat cheese with feta, which pairs very well with the Bao Zhong tea.
