A light and tasty recipe for jam donuts baked in the oven using a food processor. You can make them for Mardi Gras.
Pour the milk into the bowl and warm it for 1 minute 30 seconds at speed 2 to 37°. Add the yeast and let it rest for about ten minutes. Add all the other ingredients and activate the kneading function for 5 minutes. Let the dough rise for 1 hour 30 minutes, covering the bowl with a cloth.
Once the dough has risen, form 6 to 8 balls (using a tablespoon) and place them on a baking sheet. Let them rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the doughnuts for 10 minutes.
To finish after removing from the oven, as suggested by the blog where the recipe comes from, place them in a freezer bag for a few minutes to let them steam, then dust them with powdered sugar or granulated sugar. Optionally, fill them with strawberry/rhubarb jam using a piping bag or enjoy them plain, accompanied by jam.
