Discover this light cherry jam recipe. Perfect for serving with a slice of bread or brioche, this jam also pairs well with plain yogurt or in cake recipes.
Preparation of the ingredients. Wash and pit the cherries. Wash and scald the jars.
Prepare the fruits. Mix the cherries and sugar in a large pot.
Cooking Bring everything to a boil over medium heat, mixing the sugar well with the fruit. Once boiling, cook for at least 3 minutes, stirring continuously. To check if the jam has set, drop a few drops on a very cold plate. If the jam holds, it is ready.
To finish, jar immediately. Close the lids securely. Turn the jars upside down for 5 minutes.
