Here is a recipe for a beef cheeseburger with onion chutney, perfect for a nice lunch or dinner. This recipe, made with carrots, lettuce, cheese, and ground meat, is easy to make and will delight even the hungriest eaters.
Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C for fan-assisted). Remove the butter and meat from the refrigerator. Peel and cut the carrots into sticks about 1 cm thick. Mix them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake them in the upper part of the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and tender. Stir halfway through cooking.
For the sauce, cut the lettuce into thin strips. Chop the chives. In a bowl, mix them with the mayonnaise. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of BBQ spices per person, along with salt and pepper. Press and shape into patties (one per person) about 2 cm thick at most.
Open the burger buns in half and spread a thin layer of butter on each side if desired. Bake them on a baking sheet for 3-4 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side. Place cheese on each steak. Add 1 tablespoon of water next to the meat and immediately cover the skillet. Turn off the heat and let the cheese melt.
To finish, spread the onion chutney on the base of the burger buns. Place the steak covered with cheese on top, along with the strips of lettuce. Spread the other half of the bun with chive mayonnaise, then close the burger. Serve with roasted carrots.
