Unlike sparkling water, where bubbles are added during bottling, carbon dioxide is added to seltzer water at the moment it is served, using a small gas bottle connected to the siphon. If you don't have a siphon, use sparkling water of your choice.

The true Venetian spritz is always made with an aperitif, a slice of orange, and a green olive; in bars, it is served with salted chips.

I discovered the Spritz in Venice (dating back to the Austrian occupation, hence the Germanic name). My preference is for the bitter version that is so flavorful.

The Spritz, excellent! I spent Christmas with my sisters in a beautiful city and we discovered this sweet aperitif! A real delight. And with a nice big olive, it's more elegant. I make it at home, it's easy and you can find all the necessary ingredients! For those who don't like the bitter side, use a sweeter option, and for the others, stick with the classic! I already liked the Americano.
