Here is the detailed recipe for Indian tikka masala chicken. A slightly spicy dish to serve with basmati rice or naan bread. It's a delight!
Marinate the chicken in the tandoori paste mixed with yogurt for 2 to 12 hours.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the cinnamon, cardamom seeds, and onion. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Add the ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Cook the spices for 1 minute and add the chicken with the marinade. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
To finish, add the chopped tomatoes, the broth, the garam masala, and the lemon juice. Stir and cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick at the end of cooking.
