Here is a recipe for Italian carbonara pasta - without cream, of course - easy to make. The sauce is made with eggs.
Sauté the smoked bacon cut into thin slices in a pan.
Cook the pasta in boiling water (without salt) according to the package instructions.
Beat the egg yolks with the grated cheese. Add salt and pepper.
Drain the pasta.
To finish, mix the pasta with the egg yolk mixture and the cooked bacon. Serve immediately.
