Lamb tagine is a traditional oriental recipe. The lamb is very tender, accompanied by vegetables and well-flavored with spices; everyone loves this traditional dish and asks for it at the breaking of the fast during Ramadan. Here is an easy lamb tagine recipe using a food processor.
Soak the raisins in warm water.
Cut the lamb into pieces about 2 cm each (or have your butcher cut it for you).
Peel the carrots and cut them into slices.
Peel the onions and garlic, and blend them in a food processor for 5 seconds at speed 5.
Add the olive oil and sauté for 5 minutes at 90°C on speed 2.
Add the meat cut into pieces and sear it for 5 minutes at 100°C, speed 2.
Add the crushed tomatoes, honey, and spices. Season with salt and pepper. Add the drained raisins and carrots. Set the mixer to "Simmer" and "Reverse" modes for 40 minutes at 100°C.
To finish, when you serve your dish, you can top it with some toasted almonds and small parsley leaves; this enhances the appearance of your dish and makes it even more appetizing!
