Surprise Bread Recipe

The recipe for traditional stuffed bread is still very popular! Why not make it yourself at home with your favorite fillings? Pesto, hummus, spreads, ham... There's something for everyone!

Ingredients
 2 Slices of smoked salmon
 1 Avocado
 1 Lemon
 90 Drained tuna
 80 Fresh cheese
 Chives
 215 Drained chickpeas
 1 Garlic clove
 1 Olive oil
 1 Water
 30 Butter
 30 Dry ham
 Salt
 Pepper

Prepare the fillings by starting with the guacamole. Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Remove the flesh from the avocado and mash it in a bowl with two tablespoons of lemon juice. Lightly salt and pepper. Reserve the lemon juice for other preparations.

Prepare the tuna rillettes. Chop the chives and crumble the tuna in a bowl. Add the chives, cream cheese, two tablespoons of lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix the preparation well.

Prepare the hummus. In a blender, add the drained chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, two tablespoons of lemon juice, one tablespoon of water, salt, and pepper. Blend until you achieve a thick consistency.

Start by filling your surprise bread from the bottom. Take the first two slices from the bottom and spread the inside of both slices with guacamole. Add the slices of smoked salmon.

Close the two slices like a sandwich, being careful not to spread on one slice on both sides.

Take two new slices to continue the next layer. Fill the inside with hummus.

Reassemble the two slices of hummus, with the filled sides stuck together. Reconstruct the surprise bread by stacking the hummus sandwich on top of the guacamole-smoked salmon sandwich.

Continue in the same manner with two new slices. Spread them with butter and cured ham. Repeat the process with the pesto, tuna spread, and olive tapenade until the surprise bread is completely reconstructed.

Slice the bread using a bread knife. Cut the bread into 8 sandwiches to obtain 48 mini-sandwiches.

To finish, close the sandwich with the lid. The sandwich is ready to be enjoyed.
