A craving for strawberries and Tiramisu? I combined the two, and here is this delight to serve as a dessert or snack, for a family meal or any occasion.
For a frame measuring 13 cm by 30 cm: Rinse the strawberries quickly under cold water. Remove the stems, keep the nicest ones and cut them in half. Cut the others into pieces in a mixing bowl, sprinkle them with powdered sugar (50 g taken from the 150 g) and a packet of vanilla sugar, then set aside.
Blanch the egg yolks and 100 grams of sugar. Add the mascarpone while whisking well. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the mascarpone mixture using a spatula, and collect the juice from the sliced and sweetened strawberries in a shallow dish.
Place the frame in the serving dish. Quickly dip the ladyfingers in the strawberry juice and line the bottom of the frame. Arrange the halved strawberries all around the edge.
Place some sliced strawberries on the layer of ladyfingers, pour half of the mascarpone mixture over them, and repeat the process, finishing with a layer of mascarpone cream. Finally, top with halved or whole strawberries on the surface of the dessert.
To finish, place in the fridge for at least one night to set properly, as the strawberries will make everything soggy. Unmolding and serving can be tricky. All that's left is to enjoy!!!
