Today I present to you a new Asian recipe. I used chicken wings, but you can prepare chicken drumsticks or ribs in the same way, for example. These wings can be served as an appetizer or as a main dish, accompanied by white rice. They are well-seasoned, sweet and spicy at the same time, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. A delight that will leave you licking your fingers. If you enjoy these flavors, you will love it.
Preheat the oven to 200°C, convection mode.
Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with some olive oil. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, mix the honey with the chopped garlic, ginger, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, and vinegar. Let it simmer over low heat for a few minutes - the sauce will thicken slightly.
Place the cooked wings in a bowl and pour the sauce over them. Mix well to coat.
Finally, place the wings on a serving platter, drizzle with the remaining sauce, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately, accompanied by lemon wedges.
