 1 boneless pork shoulder or 1.2 kg pork ribs with bone
 20 Sugar
 2 Chicken broth
 Soy sauce

Preparation of the meat Cut the pork shoulder or ribs into small pieces and sauté them in a skillet with soy sauce.

Preparation of caramel When the pieces of pork are well browned, remove them, wash the pan, then place the 20 pieces of sugar with 1/2 cup of water on the heat.

Preparation of the broth: In a pot, make a chicken broth by putting 2 cubes into 1/2 liter of water.

Cooking the meat Once the caramel turns brown, add the meat (be careful of splattering), then pour in the chicken broth.

Simmer for 30 minutes to allow the sauce to reduce.

Serve with Thai rice.

    I had to slightly modify the recipe (my partner is not a fan of sweet and savory...) and used only 5 sugars in a bit of water for the caramel texture, it was delicious! Thank you!

    Particular Very easy and delicious recipe!!! My suggestion: sprinkle crushed peanuts and coriander at the last moment for a more exotic flavor.

    Very Nice Recipe! My suggestion: Unfortunately, I slightly overcooked the meat. Nevertheless, the taste of the dish is perfect. While reducing the sauce, I wasn't able to thicken it. Any suggestions?

    To make it again Super good, thank you My suggestion: I added onions and I had sweet soy sauce. I was worried it would be too sweet, but in the end, it wasn't. Easy and good recipe.

    Great recipe, easy and delicious! I've made it several times without chicken broth, I just add a bit more water and it's fantastic.
