Preparation of the meat Cut the pork shoulder or ribs into small pieces and sauté them in a skillet with soy sauce.
Preparation of caramel When the pieces of pork are well browned, remove them, wash the pan, then place the 20 pieces of sugar with 1/2 cup of water on the heat.
Preparation of the broth: In a pot, make a chicken broth by putting 2 cubes into 1/2 liter of water.
Cooking the meat Once the caramel turns brown, add the meat (be careful of splattering), then pour in the chicken broth.
Simmer for 30 minutes to allow the sauce to reduce.
